The ILCC student seminar runs every second Thursday 2-3pm Room 4.31/33. This is a seminar series run by students for students and operates as a space for students to try out practice talks, talk about experiment design/analysis or gain feedback from their peers. The expectations is that every student will give a talk at least once in their three year stay at the forum. As organisers we are happy to try to facilitate finding staff members or sometimes external members to ILCC to provide talks/tutorials in areas of interest. If you have an idea or request for a talk/tutorial please ask and we will try to make it happen. The slots can also be used for reviews.
All ILCC PhD students are invited, invitations beyond this group are at the discretion of the speaker and organisers. If you are not a ILCC PhD student please check with the organisers before attending.
Don't forget your tea & coffee and we will bring the biscuits
The current organisers are Arlene Casey, Mattias Appelgren, Sara Albakry and Alex Robertson.
