Communications Advisory Forum

A Communications Advisory Forum is supporting the Communications Team in identifying and promoting science stories within the School. Join the group!

The School of Informatics is a large institution and a lot of newsworthy communication tends to fall through the cracks. We would like to ensure it doesn’t. We have set up an advisory group that help us to identify scientific breakthroughs and discoveries that are of interest to the public, as well as any stories and issues that should be communicated internally within the School.

We meet roughly once a month to discuss recent newsworthy developments within the school.

We are looking for representatives from all institutes, so if you’re interested in science communication and would like to shape our School’s communications, please email us on infcomms@ed.ac.uk.
