The Auld Alliance French Movie Club

Come to the Auld Alliance French Movie Club to watch French films (with subtitles) from all eras and socialise with like-minded folk.


This movie club will gather like-minded people to watch old and new French movies; with subtitles for non-native speakers.

Attendance & Registration

This event is free and open to both staff and students, however, you'll need to register your attendance prior to the event (for health and safety reasons). Please let us know if you have any requirements we should be aware of prior to the event. We will run through some general house keeping and fire safety at the venue, prior to  start of each event. This is part of the Informatics Events Policy which can be found below.

Disability Statement

Although a room may be listed as 'wheelchair accessible', a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan is required for all staff and students unable to self-evacuate in an emergency. Provision for visitors who are unable to self-evacuate is the responsibility of the organiser(s) of the event. Please confirm the evacuation arrangements well in advance of the event.

Although no catering is officially provided, please feel free to bring in your own food and drinks (unfortunately, no alcohol is permitted; including, but not limited to, French Martinis).  A table will be set up if you wish to share with other attendees.


Please let us know in advance of any allergies (food in particular) you may have and be sensitive of other attendees' dietary requirements by labelling any food you may wish to share.
