Are you a dance aficionado? Don’t miss the silent disco, a swing dance class run by our own informatics swing dancers and last but not least a ceilidh with music provided by the fantastic Science Ceilidh Band!
Are you looking for the opportunity to meet people in Informatics you haven’t met yet? Come and do some science speed-learning with our researchers as your ad hoc tutors, take part in a baking competition or the pub quiz or play board games with other Informatics people!

Friday, 13th April from 1 pm till 9 pm
- Ground floor of the Informatics Forum: the Atrium, Cafe Area, G07
- George Square Gardens
Scheduled events (G07 and George Square Gardens):
1 - 2 pm - Science speed-learning
2.30 - 3.30 pm - Swing dance class run by the Informatics Swing Dancers
4 - 5.30 pm - Pub quiz with our quiz master, Neil Brown
7 - 9 pm - Ceilidh (music provided by the fantastic Science Ceilidh Band)
2- 5 pm - Meet the Alpacas (George Square Gardens) brought to you by Bowbridge Alpacas
Throughout the afternoon (The Atrium):
- Silent disco (add your favourite songs to the Spotify playlist - link below)*

- Retro gaming
- Baking competition (e-mail Ségo to take part!)

- Guess the baby

How do I attend?
Feel free to visit the stalls in the Atrium. For some of the other events, you register via the link below (spaces still available!).
Will there be food?
There will be beverages throughout the afternoon. Snacks and drinks (soft and alcohol) will be provided for those attending the ceilidh. And don't forget the baking competition! Come and try our delicious cakes.
There will be no lunch or dinner provided (sorry!)
