Poster Printing information relevant to students in the Data Science and Robotics & Autonomous Systems CDT programmes.

Poster Printing Procedure

If you require a poster for a conference or meeting you can request funding via the Informatics Graduate School. Once approved you can request printing through KB Copy Centre.

Poster printing funds

IGS may approve 1 poster per year. Any additional poster requests should be sent to the Administrator for your CDT using the enquiry form (linked below). Please include the details requested in the above IGS Poster Printing link.

Student Services contact form

  • Please note that there is an extra charge for cardboard poster tubes and these should only be ordered if required for travel/storage purposes. Students should seek approval before requesting this option.
  • The poster should not be laminated as this is an extra cost the CDTs will not cover.
  • Fabric posters are becoming more popular due to airline restrictions when travelling with a poster to a conference. This type of poster can be paid for by the CDTs.

Posters can also be printed within the University at the Central Library, George Square: £8 for A0 - ask for assistance at the main desk at the Library.

Logos

When presenting a poster or a talk, you should ensure that you acknowledge EPSRC, University of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt University (Robotics & Autonomous Systems only), and your CDT programme by including the logos for each organisation.
