Published reports from student course feedback are edited to remove offensive language
Comments are removed from the published feedback where they contain offensive language, notably that directed at particular individuals. So far this has only ever involved zero, one, or two comments in any year, from the many hundreds submitted.
The few examples of offensive language seen in the past include comments making attacks on staff based on nationality or personal characteristics, as well as simple obscenity. These all violate the University Dignity & Respect Policy and wherever possible we remove them before they are seen by the staff affected.
