Talk title: Introduction to humanoid robot's full-body manipulation and development of high-power and robust hardware

Talk abstract: Shunichi will introduce humanoid robots which work in the real world by focusing on full-body manipulation and hardware development.  First, Shunichi will introduce an adaptive manipulation method based on force sensor information to achieve manipulation of heavy-and-large objects without preliminary information of object's properties, such as mass properties and frictions. Second, Shunichi will  introduce a method to develop humanoid hardware with a water-cooling system for high-power actuation and with a robust mechanical design. Through the talk, Shunichi will also show the real robot examples, such as furniture manipulation, under-water walking, fast swing of tennis, and recovering from falling down.
