Successful bid to host 2020 European Conference on Computer Vision

General Chairs Vitto Ferrari and Bob Fisher (with other GCs Schmid and Trucco) have been successful in their bid to host the 2020 European Conference on Computer Vision in Edinburgh. This is the largest computer vision conference in Europe, held bi-annually, with about 1500 delegates expected. The conference will be held in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.

Robot Lab ran from 26th to the 30th March in the National Museum of Scotland and consisted of a series demos that showcased the research carried out at the Centre by current students.

ECR hosts ERF 2017

Edinburgh Centre for Robotics is pleased to announce that next year’s European Robotics Forum will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 22nd to 24th March 2017. The Centre's application to host this event was approved early January this year by EU Robotics.
