Summer Internships 2020

A small number of summer internships are available in the Laboratory for Foundations of Computer Science (LFCS). Interns will be assigned to a supervisor to work with them on a research-related project, and will be based in the Informatics Forum.

Internships are eight weeks in duration, beginning on 1st June or thereabouts, and finishing by the end of July. A typical student intern will be entering the final year of their degree programme in September. However, students in other years will also be considered. Talent, availability to work over the summer, and interest in research are of primary importance. It is usually possible to schedule around existing commitments such as holiday or other serious obligations if we have enough notice.

Payment is on the University of Edinburgh scale at Grade 3 point 7 (approximately £9.00 per hour.) Interns are paid monthly in arrears.

Students are only eligible if they have a right to work in the United Kingdom.

To apply, send a CV including your research interests to Dr. Myrto Arapinis. Please submit your application by Monday 17th February 2020.
