Talk: Usable Security, Privacy and Trust in IoT

The Internet of Things has the potential to greatly improve home and work life, providing on-demand capabilities and tracking our behaviors in a way that empowers and enables us. However, there are also quite a few concerns around IoT in terms of safety, reliability, and privacy. In this talk I will discuss some of the issues associated with IoT use in the home and some of the work we have done to try and demystify what these devices are doing.
