1. Job descriptions and further particulars

The steps to follow to advertise a position within the School, including information on job descriptions.

Research grant funded posts: If your post is grant funded, please speak to your Portfolio Manager. Contact your Portfolio Manager

They will work with you and will be able to advise if the School has a job description that you can use for your position. If the position is not already covered by an existing job description they will capture the relevant information and specifications and work with you and the HR team to create a new job description to be graded by College (gradings take place weekly). Please note only job descriptions submitted by InfHR will be considered by the College panel.

School-funded posts: If your post is core funded, please speak directly to InfHR regarding your requirement, and they will work with you to ensure the job description matches your and the University’s requirements.
