Some of the inspections/routines we carry out in Informatics are:

• Annual inspection of Informatics areas in Appleton Tower
• Annual inspection of Informatics Forum
• Annual fire drills
• Regular inspection of Informatics evacuation routes
• Regular inspection of first aid equipment
• Annual portable electrical appliance testing
• Annual engineering examinations of lifting equipment and air compressors
• Weekly inspection of Informatics mechanical workshop equipment
• Weekly testing of fire alarms, evacuation lifts, and emergency call points
• Annual checks of risk assessments
• Annual review of COSHH assessments
