ARM Centre of Excellence
The ARM Research Centre of Excellence in Heterogeneous Systems is a joint research venture between ARM and the University of Ediburgh.
Its aim is to explore fundamental research questions centred around efficient and secure parallel heterogeneous systems. The centre has two directors: John Goodenough, ARM VP Technology and Collaboration, and Michael O'Boyle, Professor of Computer Science University of Edinburgh. It currently hosts 7 PhD students whose research areas of interests range from data centre architecture to graphics pipeline optimisation and simulation.
