Important information regarding students on a Tier 4 visa
The University of Edinburgh is the sponsor of UK Tier 4 visas and as such has a number of legal duties to monitor student attendance and engagement and report to the Home Office when a Tier 4 sponsored student suspends or withdraws from study, fails to register or is repeatedly absent to the point of being excluded from study.
Personal Tutors will be notified by the ITO when engagement points are missed in accordance with the School Policy:
