Common Marking Scheme
The University of Edinburgh uses a Common Marking Scheme (CMS) for taught student assessment, as laid out in the Taught Assessment Regulations (see regulation 35). This document clarifies the interpretation of the general scheme in the context of the School, without changing the basic principles.
