Cyber Challenge winners

Emilia Bogdanova, Joshua Green, Paul Sinclair and Dylan Ashcroft have won the Scottish University Cyber Challenge.

The four Informatics students formed one of eight teams taking part, from five Scottish Universities, 1-2 October 2016, at the event held at Code Clan and Code Base, Edinburgh.

The Cyber Security Challenge is a series of national competitions, learning programmes, and networking initiatives designed to identify, inspire and enable more EU citizens resident in the UK to become cyber security professionals.

Although there was only a winning team announced at the Scottish event, both of Edinburgh's two other teams did well too. They consisted of Marshall Bradley, Margus Lind, Thomas Kerber and Catalina Rotaru (together known as the Giant Space Lasers) and Nicolas Lynch, Lucas Capkovic, Martin Kotuliak and Harvey Stocks.
