Student Disability REUSE

used in: all student support sections of handbooks ITO 1-pgt

There is a wide variety of support available to students, including students who have health impairments or disabilities and temporary conditions as a result of, for example, injury.

If you have a health condition or disability which may affect your studies or life at university, we recommend that you contact the Student Disability Service and arrange to meet with an Advisor.  You should contact the Student Disability Service  even if you have already notified the University of a disability before your arrival.

The Disability Service will assess your needs and discuss a "Learning Profile" for you.  The outcome of this assessment will be a  "Schedule of Adjustments" to help with your studies, this is sent to Schools and distributed by the Coordinator of Adjustments (part of the ITO) to academic staff so that relevant adjustments can be made.
