ELLIS Launches Fellow Programme in NLP
ELLIS has launched a fellow program in natural language processing (NLP).
The program comprises 19 scholars and fellows, and will be co-directed by Iryna Gurevich (University of Darmstadt), Andre Martins (IST/Lisbon) and Ivan Titov (University of Edinburgh, deputy director for the Edinburgh ELLIS unit). The goal of this program is to facilitate collaboration across the leading European NLP labs and to encourage closer interactions between the NLP and ML communities. Three Edinburgh faculty members (Shay Cohen, Mirella Lapata and Rico Sennrich) are becoming fellows and scholars in the program.
