Industrial Engagement Event 2019

Industry partners attending the event include Amazon, Cirrus Logic, Codeplay, Cray, Deepmind, Mathworks, Oracle, Xilinx Scotland.

Hosted at the University of Edinburgh's Informatics Forum on 19 February 2019, our engagement event connects PhD students and industry leaders with like interests to discover potential areas of collaboration, particularly via internships and industry projects.

The first part of this annual engagement event will focus on student and industrial presentations, so as to inform both groups on each other’s research areas. This shall be followed by a lunch and poster session, during which industry partners can interact with individual students to further explore their work. 

The highly successful networking session is back for another round of one-on-ones. Student will sign up to visit industry stations in "speed networking" fashion. Industry reps and students will be able to discuss in more detail the opportunities for internships and projects, as outlined in the morning's presentations.
