The proposed course is a significantly revised version of the existing course Advanced Topics in Foundations of Databases (ATFD, INFR11122).
Please note - "Based on feedback received from S Goldwater there may be some changes to the plans for formative vs summative assessment and the description of the second formative assessment. An updated proposal will be posted by Monday 9 Dec."

The proposed course is a revision of the existing Database Systems Course and more accurately reflects what is being taught.

These courses are a requirement in the new 4-year PhD programme in Robotics and Autonomous Systems, taken by RAS-CDT students. They are “shadow” Courses and will be fully administered and executed by Heriot-Watt University.
