Old College Quad, The University of Edinburgh

We welcome applications from academic staff based in overseas institutions wishing to visit Edinburgh Neuroprosthetics laboratories.

At the moment we can only accept applications for virtual visits, although we hope to be in a position to accommodate applications for campus visits in the near future related to arrivals from spring 2021.

Academic visitors can conduct a range of activity during their stay at Edinburgh Neuroprosthetics laboratories. This might include collaborating with members of staff on research projects, establishing academic networks with our staff and exploring opportunities for future projects.

If you are interested in visiting us as an academic visitor, please read the information below carefully to ensure you meet the requirements.

Funding

Please note that academic visitors to Edinburgh Neuroprosthetics laboratories are self-funded, that is we do not offer any financial support. In exceptional circumstances, we may cover standard laboratory expenses if the conducted research is aligned to an existing and active project.

If you are interested in co-designing a project with us for external funding, we strongly encourage you to get in touch with us.
