Mike O'Boyle's paper wins CGO Test of Time Award
Mike O'Boyle' paper has won the CGO Test of Time award 2017
Congratulations to Mike O'Boyle, whose 2007 CGO paper 'Rapidly Selecting Good Compiler Optimizations using Performance Counters' has won the CGO Test of Time award 2017.
The award recognises outstanding papers, published ten years previously at CGO, whose contents are still a vibrant and useful contribution today. CGO is the International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization, and provides a premier venue to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the interface of hardware and software on a wide range of optimization and code generation techniques and related issues.
Mike's paper was authored with his team at ICSA and collaborators at INRIA
