The Informatics Teaching Organisation (ITO) offer a first point of contact for all taught student enquiries, academic staff and teaching support staff and provide administrative support for UG1, UG2, UG3, UG4, UG5 and Taught MSc programmes.

The Informatics Graduate School (IGS) offer a first point of contact for enquiries regarding admission to PGR programmes and provide support to current PGR students and academic staff.

The CDT office provide specialist support for students enrolled to one of the relevant programmes, i.e. Data Science, Pervasive Parallelism, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Natural Language Processing and Biomedical AI.

The Informatics Comms Team are responsible for the School's internal and external communications, including online presence, marketing, recruitment and conversion, outreach and public engagement activities, promotion of the School's achievements and alumni relations.

The Informatics HR Team provide a full range of administrative support for all areas of staff recruitment and employment.

Administrative support for Institute academic staff is provided by the Level Admin Support Services.
Admin Support offices are located on levels 2 and 4 of the Informatics Forum.
Portfolio Managers are the first point of contact for staff seeking or receiving external funding in the School of Informatics.
Their main responsibilites include research grant proposal preparation and costing, financial management of research grant portfolios and institute budgets, research staff contracts, advertisement of research grant funded positions and commitment of studentship funds and offers, in collaboration with the IGS.
The Research Data Management (RDM) team are responsible for a wide variety of tasks, primarily focusing on the management of data and information.
The RDM team is located at the Informatics Forum, Room 5.33, 10 Crichton Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9LE.
Computing Support cover a variety of services related to the computer systems and networks in the School of Informatics. For more information please see here.

The School of Informatics technical staff provide general and specific mechanical and electronic support for research projects, hardware labs, computing infrastructure and facilities issues.
The Mechanical Technicians provide support, primarily for research and can provide some assistance for student projects. You can find more information here.
