A framework to facilitate informing policy for rehabilitation translational research 

Abstract: Informing policy is critical for research to translate into clinical interventions that impact service providers and users. The requirement to generate qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform policy further emphasises the relevance of multi-disciplinary research. I will present a framework that could facilitate research studies that aim to inform policy via horizon scanning approaches. The framework has been inspired by design-led methodologies and will be presented within the context of digital health research. The framework could potentially be applied to a range of research disciplines within the context of informing policy.
