IEEE UK and Ireland RAS Chapter Conference 2022
University of Edinburgh 23 February 2022
Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) is playing a central role in creating innovative tools to help us address several global challenges by enabling capabilities to do things more efficiently, safely, and in an economically and environmentally sustainable manner.
The annual IEEE UK & Ireland RAS conference took place at the University of Edinburgh on the 23rd Feb 2022, co-organised by The Alan Turing Institute and The Edinburgh Centre for Robotics, with over 80 participants attending. This interactive event was targeted at robotics practitioners, Ph.D. students, PDRAs, researchers in academia and industry professionals to discuss blue sky, high-risk moon-shot ideas. The event included a poster session, short selective talks by invited speakers in the four key themed areas of RAS and an interactive panel interspersed with inspiring keynotes by leading UK researchers.
