Invited speaker at the International Symposium on Machine Intelligence for Future Society 2023

On the 28th of November 2023, Prof. Sethu Vijayakumar talked as an invited speaker at the International Symposium on Machine Intelligence for Future Society 2023, held at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, as part of the celebration of the 10th year of the project Waseda University Top Global University Project (TGU) Symposium Series.

Prof. Sethu talk entitled “From Automation to Autonomy: Machine Learning for the Next Gen Robotics” covered many of the research topics that the SLMC group has been working on over the past years.

During the Symposium we also had the chance to discuss opportunities for collaboration within the Moon Shot project, a Japan grand initiative to develop AI and robotics for the benefit of the general public.
