IEEE UK and Ireland RAS Chapter Conference 2022

University of Edinburgh, School of Informatics, 23rd February 2022

Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) is playing a central role in creating innovative tools to help us address several global challenges by enabling capabilities to do things more efficiently, safely, and in an economically and environmentally sustainable manner.

The annual IEEE UK & Ireland RAS conference will be held at the University of Edinburgh on the 23rd Feb 2022, co-organised by The Alan Turing Institute and The Edinburgh Centre for Robotics.

This interactive event is targeted at robotics practitioners, Ph.D. students, PDRAs, researchers in academia and industry professionals to discuss blue sky, high-risk moon-shot ideas.

The event combines a poster session, short selective talks by invited speakers in the four key themed areas of RAS and an interactive panel interspersed with inspiring keynotes by leading UK researchers.

The IEEE chapter has successfully held the RAS conferences since 2017.  Due to COVID-19, we missed RAS2021. Now, we cordially invite participation from industry, academia (faculty, postdocs, PG students) in RAS and related areas to join us in this exciting opportunity to identify disruptive solutions to some of our grand challenges.
