The Informatics Deputy Director of People & Culture is responsible for supporting the Director of People & Culture in championing equality, diversity and inclusion across the School, including EDI (as relevant to staff and students), Athena Swan (staff and students) and staff engagement (staff only).

Key responsibilities include:

  • EDI
  • Member of Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team, deputise for Athena Swan Champion at Athena Swan networks.
  • Member of College Equality & Diversity Committee (shared with Director People & Culture).
  • Monitoring implementation of School People & Culture action plans and reporting status to People & Culture Committee.
  • Championing training across the School on Equality Impact Assessments that may include some guidance on when and how to complete an Equality Impact Assessment, and ensuring members of People & Culture Committee receive appropriate training on EDI matters.
